In the modern business reality, effective financial management is a cornerstone for the sustainable growth and success of businesses. The ability to make strategic decisions based on accurate and up-to-date data is crucial to meeting the challenges arising from ever-changing markets and the dynamic business environment (Li et al., 2023). In this context, information systems play a critical role, providing the necessary tools to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of businesses (Hasan et al., 2018). One of the most important information systems widely used in businesses to support their operations are ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. ERPs provide a unified management platform that covers a wide range of functions, including financial management, production, human resource management, and other critical processes. By integrating these functions into a single system, ERPs contribute to improving the transparency, accuracy and efficiency of business processes (Li et al., 2023).
This thesis focuses on the development of an IT support subsystem for financial management using an ERP platform. This sub-system is intended to act as a valuable decision-making tool in the field of financial management, covering needs such as purchasing and sales management, costing, payroll, rents and asset management. The implementation of such a system is expected to strengthen the company's ability to effectively manage its financial resources, thus contributing to the improvement of its financial efficiency and the achievement of strategic goals.
