The objective of this research is to look into the resilience of cities with respect to climate change, which can be made possible through information and communication technologies. The study endeavor tries to find out how indicators, with panel data starting from 2000 up to 2020 in Sweden, Greece, Germany, Cyprus, Italy, and Spain, like CO2 emissions, renewable energy consumption, internet use, and economic indicators bear on urban climate resilience using statistical analysis. The results show a high correlation of increased use of ICTs with better environmental outcomes, including reduced CO2 emissions and greater renewable energy consumption. However, it was limited to Europe and conducted on historical data. Further research needs to broaden its scope in terms of both geography and time series while integrating new technologies and interdisciplinarity for more clarity and improvement concerning how to make ICT work effectively for strategies aimed at urban climate resilience.
