Teaching methods using artificial intelligence (AI) provide significant advantages for the teacher in the design of material in financial education, offering the possibility to personalise the content, adapt the material to the needs of students by implementing adaptive learning, visualising the data and directly assisting teachers. The purpose of this study was to evaluate eight (8) AI programs that could enhance the teaching of economics, grouped into three (3) categories, the first category includes , teaching the understanding of economic concepts through Quizlet's QuillBot and Nearpod the second category includes , teaching the understanding of economic schemas through Desmos's Explain Everything and MindMeister i.e. tools that enhance the understanding of economic schemas , and the third category includes the teaching of economic concepts through Quizlet's QuillBot and Nearpod the second category includes , teaching the understanding of economic schemas through Desmos's Explain Everything and MindMeister i.e. tools that enhance the understanding of economic schemas , and the third category includes the teaching of economic concepts through Desmos's Explain Everything and MindMeister i.e. tools that enhance the understanding of economic schemas However, the effectiveness of these tools is based on their alignment with educational objectives, and their general ability to be seamlessly integrated into teaching methods as well as their ability to address issues of fairness and unfair bias that may arise from the data they use. AI tools should be used by educators as complementary tools rather than as substitutes to ensure accuracy and completeness of the information they provide.Continuously assessing the quality of the information generated by AI is essential to ensure that the data provided will be effective.
