This paper examines the application of the e-course "Equ(ation)ake: Escape the Sciences and Technology Museum" designed for teaching equations to 3rd High School students, through the flipped classroom method and gamification. The purpose of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the e-course in terms of active student engagement, understanding of mathematical concepts and facilitating the learning of equations. The sample consisted of 30 secondary school mathematicians and e-learning specialists, who evaluated the e-course through a specially designed evaluation rubric. The results of the research highlighted the high interactivity and educational value of the e-course, while at the same time the students' understanding of mathematical concepts was strengthened. Participants positively evaluated the implementation of the flipped classroom strategies, although room for improvement was indicated. The use of digital tools such as Genially , Quizizz and Flexi Quiz enhanced interactivity and collaborative learning. Through the present study, the fact that the combined use of the flipped classroom and gamification can improve the students' experience, promoting critical thinking and creativity was highlighted. Despite the positive indications, further research is recommended for the extension of the e-course to other mathematical units and its application in a wider educational context.
