In our days, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders, affecting children's social interaction and academic performance. Undoubtedly, successful communication and support of students with ADHD pose a challenge for educators, as it requires a combined approach that includes understanding each student's needs, applying appropriate teaching strategies tailored to those needs, and utilizing technological tools that offer interactivity and promote engagement. However, even today, traditional teaching methods continue to be a primary means of education in schools, which affects the flexibility and adaptability needed to meet the educational and social needs of students.
This thesis aims to create and evaluate an electronic course (e-course) designed to train primary school teachers to become coaches for children with ADHD in the first three grades of elementary school. The structure of the e-course is based on a well-known coaching model, the GROW model (Goal, Reality, Options, Will), which provides a structured and methodical approach to developing coaching skills. Through this e-course, teachers will acquire knowledge about coaching strategies and how they can apply them to their students, enabling them to adapt their teaching and interact effectively. Innovative technological tools, including artificial intelligence tools, have been integrated into the e-course, offering an interactive learning experience that promotes collaboration and creativity.
The e-course was provided to experts in the field of E-Learning and was evaluated by them based on a rubric that was given to them. The results showed that the program can serve as an innovative method in education for managing students with ADHD.
