This thesis focuses on the design and development of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) aimed at enhancing school violence management skills. The need for such training is obvious, as school violence is a serious social phenomenon that requires effective interventions. The use of the MOOCs method is presented as ideal due to the wide dissemination of knowledge and the possibility of flexible access to a large audience.
The MOOC was designed based on the microlearning approach, which allows learning through short and targeted modules, thus enhancing knowledge assimilation. The course content was developed with an orientation towards educational needs for school violence management, utilizing active learning techniques aimed at creating positive learning experiences. The paper includes a detailed presentation of the course design and implementation process using the OpenEdX platform.
Finally, an evaluation of the educational value of the MOOC is carried out and conclusions and recommendations for future improvement are provided. This project contributes to the development of online tools for preventing and addressing school violence, providing teachers with the necessary tools to manage the problem.
