This thesis aims to develop and create a comprehensive online course (MOOC) focused on an introduction to painting, with an emphasis on Impressionism, the techniques of Claude Monet, and an introduction to basic drawing theories, ranging from shading techniques to the theory of drawing the human body with measurements.
The course is designed to meet educational, artistic, and social needs, targeting young artists and providing opportunities for the development of both personal and professional skills. It is based on modern pedagogical methods, offering accessible and flexible learning through the Open edX platform. Its goal is to encourage creativity, enhance the artistic skills of learners, and ensure their personal and professional growth.
The work is divided into chapters that cover the theory and technique of MOOC creation. The MOOC itself is divided into "micro-courses" that address topics such as art history (with a focus on Impressionism), drawing and shading techniques, perspective, and sketching the human body with pencil. These micro-courses contribute to strengthening students' aesthetic perception and artistic sensitivity.
MOOC s, in general, offer advantages such as flexibility and accessibility, while helping to develop skills through visual materials and videos.
Despite challenges like the need for self-discipline, micro-learning adapts to students' needs, promoting continuous learning and offering up-to-date content.
