This study investigates modern methods for attracting and selecting human resources in luxury hotel units. Theoretically, it analyzes terms such as Gamification, Value Beast and Competency Beast interviews, as well as Human Resources Business Games. Practically, it explores whether and to what extent these methods are applied by human resources management in luxury hotels. Two questionnaires were created, one for candidates and one for human resources departments, to determine the application and effectiveness of these methods. The research highlighted significant differences and common points in the views of human resources managers and hotel employees regarding recruitment and evaluation methods. Traditional methods, such as open-ended interviews, remain popular and are considered effective and fair by both parties. However, modern methods and technologies, such as artificial intelligence and gamification platforms, are not widely known or applied, despite their advantages. Employees recognize that adopting modern practices can enhance the hotel's brand and make them more attractive as employers. Ultimately, the research indicates the need for education and information on new technologies and their balanced integration into recruitment processes to improve the effectiveness and fairness of candidate evaluation.
