Effective project management depends on the ability to comprehensively monitor and analyze project progress. Traditional monitoring methods often struggle to capture the complex interdependencies in project data. This paper introduces a new approach by integrating Power BI, a powerful data visualization tool, with the incorporation of topological features to provide a nuanced perspective of a project's progress.
The need for better monitoring during project evolution gave birth to a proposal to integrate Power BI and leverage topological features aimed at revolutionizing project monitoring by offering a more holistic understanding of the complex relationships within project datasets.
The purpose of this thesis is to try to integrate a new technique for project monitoring where we will study the methodology, implementation, data analysis and finally comment on the results. Describing in detail the data collection process and the strategic use of Power BI to visualize and analyze project data.
Particular attention is paid to the integration of topological features, clarifying their identification and integration into the analytical framework, providing a unique lens through which the project dynamics can be understood.
