Technological advancements and telematics influence risk assessment and the regulation of insurance companies. Simultaneously, social trends and regulatory factors create new challenges and opportunities. The role of insurance companies is not limited to financial compensation but also actively contributes to accident prevention and the promotion of safer driving behaviour. Through modern programs, they encourage safer driving practices and conduct awareness campaigns aimed at reducing accidents. Additionally, by collecting and analysing data, they promote the development of advanced safety technologies in vehicles.
Vehicle safety is rapidly evolving, incorporating advanced systems such as artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. Despite the benefits, there are challenges like technological dependency and external conditions. The development of these modern systems is expected to further enhance road safety. Case studies confirm the effectiveness of safety technologies but also recognize some limitations, such as the impact of weather conditions.
The next step in the automotive industry is connected vehicles that improve safety and the driving experience through communication technologies. Technological advancements, such as wireless communication and data analysis, accelerate their development. The Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data are reshaping the industry, providing connected functionalities and revealing patterns and trends.
