This thesis examines the impact of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) on business performance and competitiveness, focusing on the Greek company Korres as a case study. SHRM integrates HR practices with business strategy to enhance organizational effectiveness and shape a sustainable competitive advantage. Through a comprehensive analysis of Korres, a leading natural cosmetics company, the study explores how SHRM practices such as talent management, employee development, and performance appraisal contribute to improved business results. The findings reveal that a company's strategic HR initiatives significantly improve employee engagement, innovation and operational effectiveness, which in turn strengthens the company's market position and financial success. The study concludes that effective SHRM is a critical determinant of business performance and competitiveness, offering valuable insights for other organizations aiming to achieve similar outcomes.
