The pharmacy has always been the first point of contact for the majority of patients in order to inform them about possible health issues they may be facting. Consequently, we must point out how important is the pharmacist’s role, should be highlighted in turn, as he makes an obvious contribution to society as a whole by defending health, preventing illness and relieving congestion in the health system.
In today's era, technology now plays a leading role and the pharmacy in turn must be updated to the new needs in favor of society. Pharmacy innovation is a one-way street for the modern pharmacist. The goal of every pharmacist is therefore to serve his audience by providing the best possible solution to these needs in a profit-driven manner. The pharmacy is a business that in turn the modern pharmacist, by utilizing social media, can make more profit.
The purpose of this thesis is to conduct research on the evolution of the pharmacy over time and the impact of technology on it. The aim of the thesis is to provide an impetus for other works to deal with the multifactoriality of this evolution and, on the other hand, to be of help to pharmacists themselves who are trying to adapt to these changes.
