| dc.description.abstractEN | The European Union is now moving forward with efforts that seek to make Europe the world's first climate-neutral continent by 2050. The pursuit of this undertaking has presented significant difficulties stemming from deficiencies within the legislative structure, complications in technical execution, and the wide range of political aspirations. This Master's Thesis examines the obstacles hindering the implementation of both wind and solar power in Greece and the European Union, focusing on the political and economic structures, markets, administrative procedures, utility regulation, and infrastructure. Furthermore, this Master's Thesis presents instances of effective national best practices employed to promote the development of solar and wind energy technologies. | el |
