The purpose of this thesis is, through the study of the available literature and an empirical approach, to present the possibilities offered by the application of the Internet of Things in the areas of the Supply Chain, with particular emphasis on its integration into the Supply Chain of the agri-food sector (Agrologists).
In the introduction, a reference is made to the agri-food sector supply chain. The contribution of Agrologists to the economy. The factors that collectively contributed to their development and their organization.
The first chapter refers to the digital supply chain (Digital Supply Chain), the characteristics of digital logistics. Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the integration of blockchain with IoT in the supply chain. The use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the supply chain of the agri-food sector
The second chapter presents the Internet of Things, its architectural structure, its applications in Logistics and the advantages and disadvantages of its use in the Supply Chain. Emerging technologies in digital logistics and the impact of IoT on supply chain processes.
In the Third chapter, the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the processes in the supply chain Agri-Food Sector. The factors for the development and the organization and the modes of transport and distribution in Agrologists. Traceability in the Supply Chain of Agricultural Products.
