The energy landscape in the Middle East has been predominantly reliant on fossil fuels for decades. However, with the global push towards sustainable development and the need to mitigate climate change, energy transition in the region has become an urgent priority. This thesis aims to explore the challenges, opportunities, and strategies associated with the energy transition in Middle East countries. Through a comprehensive analysis of the region's energy sector, policies, and socio-economic factors, this research will provide valuable insights into the potential impacts of transitioning to renewable and sustainable energy sources in the Middle East. The below thesis focus also on three key players in the region the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
