This master's thesis aims to the analysis and comparison of two well-known standards in the field of Privacy by Design, "ISO 31700-1 Privacy by design for consumer goods and services" and the "Design Process Standard" from the Institute of Operational Privacy Design. The study begins by examining central elements of each standard, including their underlying principles, methodologies, and areas of application. First the "ISO 31700-1" is analyzed and then the "Design Process Standard". Then, through an in-depth examination of these standards, the research seeks to identify similarities, differences and potential synergies, contributing important insights to the debate on privacy practices by design.
