Abstract

The subject of this master's thesis is the Development of a 10-Class Image Classifier, based on which it becomes possible to predict attacks. Therefore, the application of Knowledge Mining techniques (data mining) in Security will be attempted in order to predict attacks. This goal is achieved by implementing a network intrusion detector. Specifically, a prediction model capable of distinguishing 'bad' connections, which are called intrusions or attacks, from 'good' normal connections.
