The health sector could of course not be unaffected by this technological revolution, as the use of new and innovative technologies contributes to improving the quality of health services. In particular, health care units are able to improve the services they provide to patients-citizens, but at the same time they are able to save resources, while research is promoted and the health care system in general is moving in a more human-centered direction.
