This Diplomatic Thesis aims to explain the important role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) with an emphasis on its main pillars, the economy, society and the environment. Especially after the global financial crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic, corporate social responsibility has become an indispensable tool for improving key areas of business activity, not only for companies but also for public authorities and governments. The methodology applied in this paper is the collection of secondary data from Greek and foreign literature, while the case study is the OTE Group and the Association "DIAZOMA".
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies are of paramount importance for both the public and private sectors, especially in the context of ever-increasing socio-economic and environmental pressures. Through CSR and the new trends that are constantly emerging, the business sector aims to inform and raise awareness among stakeholders, but also to improve and maintain its customers and profitability.
The Diploma Thesis concludes that the Association "DIAZOMA" following the new trends of CSR worldwide and specifically the objectives set by its Corporate Members develops with them partnerships focusing on culture. OTE Group's structured and strategically designed Corporate Social Responsibility policy allows the company to consolidate its reputation and develop its customer base.
