Abstract
The demographic fertility phenomenon is the subject presented in this project. It is established in the demographic analysis that the indexes suggested for the birth rate measurement, are based on the female population. Here, the fertility analysis will be tested among the districts of Greece according to mothers’ age. More particularly, the multiple factor analysis method has been chosen in order to diminish the effect of several depended variables. The factors arised regarding education, family status and female age-brackets are the most crucial as they interpret the 44% of the total interpretable variance. Consequently, we conclude that fertility is mainly affected by variables consisting “the social status” and by females in reproductive age.
