As globalization and the rapid development of technology require adaptability and flexibility in an ever-changing environment, high quality seems to be the key to sustainability of businesses today. Focusing on continuous improvement, as well as increasing competitiveness, organizations are adopting the methods of Total Quality Management in their strategic plan in order to expand in their field, evolve and become differentiated in the industry.
The market demands high quality products and services, and companies are searching for the right tools to achieve such success. In response, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have become an integral part of people's life, improving everyday life today. As organizations have a great interest in increasing customer satisfaction, products and services are being upgraded through technological advances that provide a better overall experience for the end user. The scope of this paper is to examine the extent that such technologies affect the current way of living and the challenges that arise for the future of businesses.
