The purpose of this master's thesis is the development and presentation of an ordering application in the Android operating system for use in restaurants. From the application, the merchant will be able to take an order from the customer and send it to the kitchen/bar to be prepared using his smart device (smart phone, tablet, Android POS, etc).
Key elements of this work are the development of the application in Kotlin programming language which is the one recommended by Google for use in Android operating systems, the creation of a user-friendly application that is pleasant and easy for the user of the application, and the use of cloud technologies such as firebase.
In this thesis we analyze the stages for the creation of the ordering application such as the study of the functional requirements, the system architecture, the implementation of the application and the presentation of conclusions and its future prospects.
