The COVID-19 pandemic has been a special moment that has marked the life of the last 3 years or so in the international arena. It is a health crisis that has evolved and affected every area of human life and activity. Among the areas affected is that of the labor market. The labor sector, both in the international field and in Greece, was greatly affected by the pandemic and the conditions it created. It is equally important to state that, particularly in Greece, the COVID-19 pandemic broke out at a time when the country was recovering from the economic recession of the recent past. Therefore, its effects were in some cases more intense and more extensive. Businesses were urged to adapt their operations and employees to engage in teleworking where possible, although there was no shortage of job losses. In any case, the pandemic was a special condition, a challenge, but also an opportunity for the development of new, innovative, and more effective work methods.
