Abstract
The young people's opportunities for a better tomorrow have significantly decreased. Adolescents have to deal with, in addition to the problems and financial uncertainty of the period we live in, financial decisions they will make for their immediate future, therefore, preparing teenagers for entering real life and dealing with serious financial situations is priority for many governments around the world with the close cooperation of the OECD. The paper presents and analyzes a series of scientific articles, regarding the financial literacy of teenagers - eight in number - which have been published in important scientific journals, such as The Review of Financial Studies (2016), The World Bank Economic Review (2017) ), etc.
In addition, the results of the three assessments that took place under the supervision of the OECD through the PISA program on financial literacy, and which were carried out in 2012, 2015, and 2018, are presented.
