The major goal of this study is to look into, how things of change, culture, reasons that can contribute to the need for change, the emotions it can cause in people who make up an organization or a company, finding the people who need to manage this situation and the ways in which this can be achieved are presented in Greek and other literature.
Also, it aimed to analyze the process of change within a school unit, and to find the one who can contribute, so that it is accepted by all. It is said that change is significantly influenced by the culture that governs the school and the principal in the role of transformational leader, is the one who will most help the process of making a change.
Finally, a survey was carried out among teachers who participate in the team of the Postgraduate Studies Program as well as members of the management staff of the school units in the area of Athens, Vyronas, Aigaleo, Nikaia, Korydallos and Peristeri with a reference population of 100 people for 2021-2022, while the aim of the survey was initially to understand what changes and innovations are happening in school units today. In addition, how can the changes be integrated into the functioning of the school and how are they dealt with by teachers and students. And finally, what is the role of the leader-manager in the integration of these changes.
