In this Master Thesis, the concept of “Project Management” is discussed; a process that combines explicit knowledge, ingenuity, and tools, producing something of value for people. The first chapter of the Thesis consists of a chronological retrospection of the concept, along with the new norms, which have changed the former standards, creating the need for new certificates. The factors determining the perplexity of the project, to make it deliverable, are also analyzed. Furthermore, in the second chapter, a bibliographic review is carried out, regarding the new trends and changes, that have changed the standards used, until now, with the deposition of the contribution of the certifications. These issues have to do with the usability of “Project Management”, the doubts that have been created after viewing the certifications, teleworking and the execution of a project. After that, there is a reference to characterize the success of a project, with commentary on the factors that need analysis and also a determination of the complexity of a project. Afterwards, with the contribution of chapters 3 and 4,a comparison between the certifications determines the convergences or not, between themethods. Finally, in chapter five, a large part of the certifications, related to “Project Management”, which exist in the current era, are being graded. With the conclusions found in chapter six, a global view, related to the contribution of these five chapters, is formed, where theframing and analysis of “Project Management” is sought, citing comparisons and references for Project Management certifications.
