This dissertation was written with the aim of collecting, recording and studying the balance sheets of the Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (OLP) over a period of sixteen years from 2005 to 2020. The main objective is to carry out a standard comparison of the different balance sheet data of the Piraeus Port Authority resulting from the three phases of the port's operation, the first in which it belonged entirely to the state apparatus, the second in which the concession contract for the piers 2 and 3 with SEP S.A. occurred and the third phase in which the acquisition of the majority stake in the port by Cosco (Hong Kong) Group Limited is completed. The comparison and evaluation of the financial data is carried out by extracting indicators and graphs via the Excel spreadsheet and with the main aim of creating a methodology model with universal application in any port company.
