Abstract

This thesis was implemented in the framework of the postgraduate program ‘Economics of Education and Management of Educational Units’ at the University of Piraeus. The purpose of this paper is to study the link between labor productivity and education. The main part of the thesis consists of the theoretical part, in which the necessary theoretical documentation based on the literature is made and the practical part in which the presentation and commentary of the statistical findings is done. In particular, the theoretical approach is made in the first three chapters of the thesis, in the first chapter the concepts of work productivity and its connection with education are presented. The second chapter provides a brief description of the training and the bibliographic data that will be used in the statistical test. The third chapter provides a complete description of the mathematical background that will be used for the statistical test. The presentation and commentary of the statistical findings is done in the fourth chapter and in the fifth chapter the conclusions and the future proposals are presented. Finally, the thesis closes with the bibliography, which is divided into documented and electronic.
