Abstract

In this study, the term of business responsibility and sustainability and also the advantages and disadvantages of it are presented. As 2% of the worldwide emissions is due to air travel, airlines at the recent years have started to adopt more sustainable practices in order to reduce their emissions. In this study, sustainable development for Aegean airlines , the biggest airline in Greece is analysed and the company’s long term goals and actions related to the environment are being described. This report is based on the goals for sustainable development from Global Reporting Initiative(GRI)
