The present work has the object to study the strategy of the company Apivita SA, a company that
produces and distributes cosmetics - dietary and pharmaceutical products and services. This
work attempts to portray and evaluate the company, from its creation in 1979 in Athens, until
today, which now belongs to the multinational group of Puig which operates in more than 30
countries.
Firstly, the company and its financial data are presented and then the external environment is
analyzed through the PESTLE method and Porter’s 5 Forces’ analysis and afterwards, scenarios
are analyzed for possible future positive and negative cases.
Then the internal environment of the company, the statements of Mission and Vision are all
analyzed. Company’s environmental, social, and administrative view and its related actions are
examined, within the framework of its business policy.
Then the strengths and weaknesses of the company are analyzed using the SWOT method and its
current strategy and the way to achieve a competitive advantage are examined and evaluated.
The above analysis can be considered as an evaluation of the company's strategy and
consequently as a forecast of its viability and development.
