School nowadays faces various challenges, such as over-informing the citizens and devaluing the educational system. Trying to cope with those new needs created by the age of the internet and the recent emergencies created by the Covid pandemic, school will have to change and to successfully implement and consolidate any changes, schools will have to review the way they approach their audience. Through School Public Relations, school units can communicate their services to the interested audience but also listen to the needs of the groups to which they are addressed in order to adapt their services to them. The externalization of the philosophy and culture of the school unit, as shaped and formed by the school management, the Teachers' Association, the students who attend the school and the society in which the school operates, can improve the attitude of the citizens towards the school and act supportively in its functions.
In the present research, the ways in which Primary School units in our country communicate with their environment and the views of the teachers regarding the application of Public Relations’ technics in the Greek Primary Schools and the possible benefits that may arise from it are recorded.
