The scope of this master thesis is the implementation of a web application for small-scale poultry farming units. Its primary purpose is to assist businesses in monitoring indoor climate conditions, such as ambient temperature, relative humidity and wind flow speed, and outdoor climate conditions, such as temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. In case the values of the indoor atmospheric conditions diverge from the value range stated in the relevant European and Greek legal framework, this application proposes some actions that the poultry farming unit should take in order to improve these values. For instance, in case the level of the indoor temperature is high, while the outdoor temperature is lower, it is recommended that the user of the application should open the windows of the facility. The values of these parameters are frequently updated; as a result, indoor conditions of the facility are closely monitored at any point in time.
