The Climate change is now at the center of global interest. The World Economic Forum (WEF), held in January 2020 in Davos, ringed the bell of alarm. For the first time, the WEF Annual Report states that the environment and climate change are at the top five of the list of risks that are expected to have a significant global impact by 2030!
Extreme weather conditions, man-made destruction of the environment, major natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis, biodiversity loss are reported in the report.
Global warming is the result of man's tragic negligence. Extensive climate change caused by the greenhouse effect and already having a dramatic impact on people's daily lives must be curtailed. This overthrow is the big issue. We must all work together for the common good, for a sustainable environment. The unique tool of analysis and planning in this difficult race, which is a marathon, is the Bioeconomy.
With the scientific analysis of all data, it is possible to achieve the appropriate strategic planning to deal with the impact of climate change, to have proper management of water resources and to achieve the full utilization of the potential provided by renewable energy sources. The active citizens of this planet can finally make the Vision a reality. Because our survival depends on our own actions and our collective actions to deal with natural phenomena, such as that of the climate change.
