Abstract

The present doctoral research have tried to describe and analyze in depth what happened in political leadership level, from October 2019 until the elections of 2012, a critical period for Greece, where too memorandum and a mid-term fiscal program intervened. The research had as a main objective the empirical analysis of the political leadership effectiveness in Greece during the times of crisis, especially in the period 2009-1012 when too memorandum signed and voted. From the empirical part the analysis seek to record what happened in the level of leadership and management of the political and the financial crisis, using a thorough quality research. In essence, the research didn’t analyze the political leadership of Greece in period 2009-2012 with the classical theories of the political science, but with the principles and theories of management based on specific quality measurements. Additionally, the analysis corresponded with past bankrupts of Greece and compared with other countries that insert in a status quo of a memorandum. It analyzed the effectiveness of the memorandum in the political leadership and its political decisions. The analysis was pursued, with data that where derived from primary research for the leadership role. Aimed to give an answer on how the leadership behavior effected at the financial developments and political decisions in political life, and how the government decisions and movements influenced on the economy respectively. At the research participated high qualified persons with special knowledge on the fields of leadership, crisis management, economy, political and management. The research was showed if the leadership management of crisis in Greece was effective or not, during the period of the crisis and the leadership style of the country. Essentially, it was determined the pattern of the leadership behavior.
