The present study deals with Greek Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Romania. Our analysis, from the first chapter, begins with the introduction to the Theory of Foreign Direct Investment, with what is FDI, with the forms and categorizations of FDI, the reasons for the establishment of a multinational Strategic Alliances, Acquisitions and Mergers. In the second chapter, we get to know the Romanian economy and its general characteristics. The third chapter presents general information about Chipita. The fourth chapter presents the case of Chipita's investment in the state of Romania and the reasons for choosing that country. In the fifth and last chapter of the work, we analyze several more Greek investments in Romania and several examples of Greek companies.
