This thesis is referred at the presentation the of 5S lean management model. It is a model with applicability to all workplaces, both in production lines and offices. As part of this presentation is an analysis of the five phases that make up the model. Briefly, the stages are: Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize and Sustain.
The applicability of this model is in the different sectors and problems that should be addressed in the implementation phase. The implementation of this model is considered essential to involve both administrative and labour staff of the undertaking with substantial cooperation. Finally presents the analytical model implementation of lean management 5S in R&D Department in the different regions of the advantages and disadvantages arising as well as in terms of business in this area.
