This paper' s aim is to be study the concept of Information and in particular of the Intelligence Services in the context of the revelations of the mass surveillance conducted by the NSA and published in 2013, by Edward Snowden. These revelations were in stark contrast to democratic principles and ethics. The rights of ordinary citizens as well as prominent individuals with significant political positions appeared to be violated by the state itself. Thus, a new era began for many sectors of modern society, as a major problem : arose posed by the misuse of technological means by state authorities that are not subject to the prescribed control that might help in the legal delimitation of their activities.
