The purpose of this Master's Thesis is the implementation of the Android application «SmartCart» through which decisions will be made between multiple conflicting criteria. The application will apply the "Analytical Hierarchy Process" (AHP) algorithm to decide about the priority of these criteria.
The implementation of an Android application that gives user the opportunity to make his purchases fast and easy through multiple points of visit, and suggests the best possible solution, according to the preferences that user has set at that moment. The user of the application can search through a list of products and select what he wishes to buy with one click. He has to define his preferences between four criteria and request the contribution of the application for the best option for him. The application analyzes the data and returns a list of the suggested combinations of points of visit where the selected products can be purchased. Finally, he will be able to proceed to the selection and purchase of the desired combination.
«SmartCart» application gives user the power to buy the products he wants by combining the following basic criteria: Cost - Distance - Time - Number of points of visit.
