This paper examines the concept and processes that comprise the operation organization of a commercial warehouse. The research begins with some very important definitions regarding Logistics and Supply Chains. The research then goes on to the management of business warehouses and storage systems. These include processes such as the receipt, the types of goods, their storage, the advantages, and disadvantages of having a business in stock. Then, some storage systems are analyzed, types of warehouses, types of vehicles used, and the importance of human resources in warehouse management are discussed. At the end, is presenting the spatial organization of ATHANASSIOU’s company, to confirm all the above reports.
