The decision-making process is very important as in this way it is possible to more directly address the various problems and issues faced by schools and organizations thus increasing their effectiveness. In this paper the purpose of the study is to draw conclusions if the Gender is a key factor in decision making and leadership style in schools and organizations. In particular, the work aims to show whether there is a difference in the way of decision making between men and women, especially in the field of education, to show how this way is related to the management style followed by women and men and if and to what extent they exist in / in teachers stereotypes regarding the exercise of command by men and women.
There is a big problem around the issue and it is important to investigate the issue, as it is related to stereotypes and discrimination against women, representing women in positions of responsibility, supporting executives in the performance of their duties, removing stereotypes, etc.
This research is based on the utilization of stratified data collected using a questionnaire. The research we will answer the questions, if men have the tendency / prefer to follow the leadership style that emphasizes the taskor (taskoriented) while women in the development of relationships with their subordinates (relationshiporiented), if men tend to choose / prefer the Directive and the Analytical style in decision making, while women the Behavioral and Conceptual style. As well as whether there are stereotypical perceptions regarding the exercise of command by men and women.
