Nowadays, there is a great evolution in technology that affects the daily life of all, with internet and the other digital media taking a permanent place in everyone’s life.
E-commerce is one of the most recent uses of the internet, which is evolving and increasing day by day. It was not long before the parapharmaceutical products (first aid products, food supplements, etc.) make their appearance on the market through online pharmacies.
The purpose of this paper is to properly inform about the stores that operate through the internet and more specifically to the distribution of parapharmaceutical products through this channel.
The are also mentioned the necessary conditions that need to be met in order for the sale of parapharmaceutical products via the internet, both in Greece and in other countries.
Through this study, it has been shown that consumers use the internet for their purchases, even for parapharmaceutical products, and they are not hesitant at all when it comes to the online drug market (pharmaceutical products).
However, the positive attitude towards consumer electronics markets is pushing businesses to adapt to developments and create a good and reliable online image in order to be able to promote their products and services, and attract potential buyers.
