Over the past few decades, the construction industry has shifted its focus towards sustainability which can be evaluated using the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) throughout a building's life-cycle. TBL consists of environmental, financial and social factors. Since sustainable construction is so important, it is fundamental to assess the sustainability of the industrial environment such as buildings.
The aim of this study was to evaluate different building sustainability assessment methods, such as LEED, BREEAM, Estimada and TEE-KENAK, in countries belonging to the European Union. The results depict the environmental, financial and social aspect of sustainability.
