The content of this Doctoral Dissertation (DD) answers a basic scientific and pedagogical question: can we design innovative internet services, software and pedagogical applications of strategic importance for Vocational Education and Training (VET) "drawing" material from the everyday life of the educational process? And how could these "extensions" act as a catalyst to ensure the development and the much-needed upgrading of VET? Taking advantage of the systematic study of the daily school routine that is provided through targeted observations in special teaching areas, we present in this dissertation specific answers to the problems posed by the everyday life of the technical school in the contemporary social reality. The study of specific cases, such as the specialized design of the online support of the Laboratories Centres (LC), the question of the methodical introduction of innovation in the daily technical school, the online support of the transmission of technical knowledge through a Learning Management System (LMS), and the innovative educational web software (Remote Platforms, RP - Game Based Platforms, GBP), are proposed as a co-pilots to support and achieve the set learning objectives and applications for VET, thus shaping a new innovative planning in providing educational services. In addition, we have designed an apprenticeship support service that operates via an online platform tailored to the needs of the 4th Post-Graduate year of vocational high school. We believe that all the above are important themes of an innovative design course for the VET school community. Throughout the dissertation the focus is on the modern state-of-the-art capabilities of internet technologies applied to the strategic development for VET.
