This master thesis aims to develop an online e-learning application for the training and support of airline cabin crews through specific modern technologies. This is an application that can be accessed by each flight crew as cabin managers and cabin crew of the same airline as trainees - users. Essentially, implementation will help make their training better, streamline and end in a shorter period of time by improving its quality while offering multiple benefits to an airline such as reducing its operating costs. The benefits to cabin crew and to airline companies are further detailed below. The application can be used (if customized) in general by various companies to train their staff.
The following master thesis consists of seven sections. The first section provides a historical overview of the aviation industry and the second section introduces the reason why cabin crew are important with a brief reference to some of them. The science of Information Technology in the aviation industry is presented in Section 3. In the 4th module, e-learning in general is presented in the field of business and especially in the field of aviation industry. Future improvements are presented in Section 5 and section 6 refers to the technologies used. In Section 7, instructions are given for the application and its functions are presented.
