Abstract

Managing stocks and supplies is one of the most vital aspects of a business. Proper planning and organization of the operation of this department can give quality and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the business as a whole. With the advancement of technology, all the necessary tools for managing information and functions that can reduce costs and increase speed and validity have been provided. The applications of business research, theories of inventory management, warehouse organization and information management systems are the pillars underpinning the smooth supply and proper functioning of the department, business and supply chain in general. In today's age where speed and optimum customer service with quality terms is the demand for supplies, inventory management is the key to a business's viability and profitability.
