The purpose of this work is to study Health Expenditure in selected European Union countries through Gross Domestic Product, Life Expectancy and Unemployment Rate. Data from the countries of France, Germany, Italy and Great Britain during the period 2000 to 2015 are presented, collected by the World Bank and the results of the Health Expenditure Influence are obtained through the simple linear regression model. The health systems of the selected countries of the European Union are analyzed. There are similarities and differences between them. France, Germany and Italy have many similarities in the way health systems are financed, resulting from employer and employee contributions. On the other hand, the health system of Great Britain has a completely different structure and is based on the principles of social solidarity, universal and full coverage of population and equality. In all countries Life Expectancy has the highest interpretation ability with rates of 70% -90% with the largest percentage being in the UK. In Germany and Italy GDP and Unemployment Index, negatively impact on Health Expenditure. In France and Great Britain, GDP negatively impacts on Health Expenditure. The results of the simple linear model estimations show that the gross domestic product in Germany and Italy has the lowest interpretative capacity. In the UK, GDP and the Unemployment Rate have the least interpretive position.
