In this thesis the following questions are explored: what are the factors that determine the quality of governments, how are government performance measures used to measure government performance. Also what are good and bad governance, the positive and negative characteristics of each of them, exploring what consensus, accountability, transparency, responsiveness, rule of law and effectiveness mean. Indicators of economic freedom and global governance are still being examined. Governance, with its applications, concerns the overall activity and functioning of all three state powers, the composition and relationships between governance and urban areas, giving new opportunities for the consolidation of constitutional principles and the rule of law. Governance is typically said to consist of: greater and more improved citizen participation in public and public life, enhancing cleanliness and fighting corruption, efficiency and accountability of the state, utilizing new technologies, promoting it overall standard of living and achieving sustainable development.
