The result tool used in this study was questionnaires for the quantitive analysis and “content analysis” for the qualitive analysis. The statistic tool used in this research for the analysis of the results was “One Sample t-test”. The results of the research showed: a) the design and the implementation of the course based on ARCS model has a significant impact on learner’s Attention, Relevance, Confidence and Satisfaction and consequently to their motivation b) technological affordances have been an important tool for improving learning process d) an intercultural e-course can be a means to establishing intercultural understanding.
