In cases of humanitarian crises, it’s often that many of human rights are violated, one of which is the right of education. Education in emergencies constitutes a main pillar of humanitarian response, in which the contribution of the International Organizations is decisive. Turkey, according to UNHCR, hosts more than 3 million refugees and has a significant number of refugees that do not participate in any form of education. The aim of this thesis is to examine the policy of education that is followed and provided for the refugees in Turkey and study the contribution of UNHCR in it as well. In order to study the above, bibliographic research was conducted, based on books, scientific journals and reports of international organizations. The research shows that the policy followed by UNHCR has significantly contributed to the increase of the number of Syrian students in formal and informal education, in Turkey
