Abstract

The subject of this study is to present the necessity of influenza vaccination in healthcare professionals. At the same time, the knowledge of healthcare professionals in a private hospital, regarding the influenza virus and the influenza vaccine are being explored, as well as their position towards vaccination. The methodology used included a bibliographic review and analysis of the data gathered from the distribution of questionnaires to hospital health personnel through the SPSS 23.0 statistical package.
